Who is this guy???

Adam Koda is an actor, divisor, and physical theater artist based out of New York City that has made a career out of his love for classical theater.

Since graduating from Point Park University in 2023, Adam has been working with multiple classical theater companies across the country, and bringing Shakespeare performances to audiences from New York to California! He attributes much of his early career success to a Paul Ryan Rudd quote he read on a late night during the pandemic, “if an actor can do Shakespeare, they can do anything.” That phrase was the seed that Adam spent his quarantine watering, and by the time the world could finally connect again, he reaped the rewards of his quiet practice; blooming with inspiration.

As an actor-creator, he always brings his unadulterated self to the work he produces. Adam aims to liven the spaces he enters by maintaining a positive and welcoming air wherever he is because even though it is impossible to change the world in an instant, he can affect the world around him. Smiles make smiles, and by sharing just a bit of joy with each person he meets, that joy can then be used to give more joy to another. A chain reaction that leaves the world a little brighter at the end of the day.

In Chinese, there is a phrase pronounced: “Gong Fu”. Most people are familiar with the popular martial arts form, Kung Fu, but the origin of the phrase literally means skill achieved through hard work. Adam has spent over a decade accruing knowledge and inspiration from incredible artists he has worked with and studied alongside at institutions like Point Park University, Accademia Dell’Arte and the British American Drama Academy. (see resume for more)

He has made performing arts his Gong Fu.

His learning is never finished, and he has no lack of motivation. Adam is here for the long haul, and he hopes you’ll join him on whatever journey this universe takes him on!
